Mary Frances Lawson (1835-1915), called "Fannie," was the daughter of Edmund Reid (1802-1883). She married Thomas G. Lawson. Her brother, John Reid (1839-1924) enlisted in the Confederate army in 1861; he was commissioned in Company B of the 3rd Georgia Regiment and rose to the rank of captain.
